Miss Deb from Hodgepodge has brought up this program and asked us to give it some support in our segments. Here goes:

The "Pennies from Heaven" children's program for Episcopal Relief and Development will soon be unveiled. In the meanwhile, start saving the tall Pringles potato chip cans to get ready. Oh, and pennies too!

We sometimes forget how much can be accomplished when a group of people, no matter how young, unite for a cause - the poverty and devistation experienced by other children of their own age in this country and others. Whether returning cans back to the grocery store or saving odd change or donating part of an allowance..... the change and the bills add up.... the children and their efforts will make a difference for ERD...... keep tuned to Hodgepodge for more info.... and keep collecting those Pringle cans as donation collectors!
