The Birth of Hope - Lyrics

A few days ago I posted the lyrics to a Christmas hymn/song/lullaby. The problem is, noone could read the lyrics..... so, here they are:

The light of lights
has come among us
The breaking of
a brand new day.
No more downcast
in our shadows:
The birth of hope
has come today.

His father tending
to the cattle
His mother kneels
as if to pray.
The angels
visiting shepherds:
The birth of hope
has come today.

O come, the promised
one, Redeemer
Reclaim my hardened
heart and stay.
I give it you,
as you've giv'n it me:
The birth of hope
has come today.

Send me a note if - by chance - the sheet music could not be deciphered or enlarged and I'll post that again as well.
