Summer Slips By

It was here..... I think. It's a cliche at this point. Summer. It started yesterday, but tomorrow is Aug.29..... a far cry from 21 June. The evenings are coming earlier, the dawns later.

For all the world, the summers seem to go faster as we get older.... while logic says it just ain't so.

The seasons come and go, yet God remains changeless in the 'timeless' sense. God is the ultimate adapter, yet in this sense is still timeless.

When the morning comes, remember to say thanks to God, without regard to the season.

Rest in his Eternal Changelessness, regardless of the thermometer, barometer, wind chill factor or heat index. Bless the Lord at all times.

And take a deep breath now...... because, come September, your Church Schedules will be repleat with commitments, happenings, welcomes, projects, programs, series, liturgies, meetings, sales, celebrations, remembrances.

One day at a time. Amen.
