More e-Church Responses

Virtual Church is out there and growing. The idea has caught on with Baby Boomers and Gen Xers alike. Pray the Daily Office online, read daily meditations online, go to Church on your iPod (if your church provides pod casting). As a follow-up to the October 16, 2008 MOLC post, here is an essay contained in the March 10, 2009 issue of Episcopal Life Daily about this topic: http://www.episcopalchurch.org/80050_105774_ENG_HTM.htm.

What do YOU think about the resources currently available for your spiritual growth and community currently available on the internet? Send your thoughts on to molc@geraniumfarm.org for a future posting!

Trinity Wall Street, NYC

Often in this blog I've mentioned different things I've gleaned from the parish e-newsletter.

Today I'd like to recommend that you go to the Trinity Wall Street website. There are few church websites quite like this one in its diversity, depth and appeal. You can listen to sermons, concerts, review clips from the Trinity Institute's vault of yearly symposiums, get gardening advice, and on and on and on ...

Please take a look! The home page also contains a link to enabling you to subscribe to their weekly newsletter. Drop in and enjoy!!!! http://www.trinitywallstreet.org/.

Another Cause Designed for Youth and Young Adults

Another group within the Episcopal Church for younger people is Episcopalians for Global Reconciliation which is utilizes the MDGs (Millennium Development Goals)as a framework to follow Christ's call to seek and serve 'even the least among you'.

This grassroots movement is spreading throughout the country, but could use your talent, expertise and assistance to establish a base in your own state.
