Summer Reading for Trying Times

Listening to WNYC, my local public radio station the other day, a regular program entitled TELL ME MORE popped up. Michel Martin, journalist and host of the program, was speaking to Daphne Rose Kingma, author of The Ten Things to Do When Your Life Falls Apart. No, with a title like that, this book probably would not make your mother's summer reading list.

But perhaps it should be on yours. These are trying times - and you may be one of those blessed people who are attempting to deal with catastrophic circumstances that could read like a script from THE PERFECT STORM. Everyone can use some support when putting one foot in front of the other is a painful challenge. The Ten Things to Do When Your Life Falls Apart may be part of the remedy. Incicentally, the subtitle of this book is An Emotional and Spiritual Handbook.
